These highly pigmented dyes are easy to apply at home and can create any look you want – from soft pastels to intense jewel tones. Keep reading to learn how to get the most out of your Pulp Riot hair color!

First, make sure that your hair is in good condition before applying any dye. If it has been colored previously or treated with other chemicals such as bleach or peroxide, use a clarifying shampoo first to remove excess buildup. This will help ensure even coverage when applying the desired shade of Pulp Riot hair dye.

After washing out the shampoo, towel dry your hair and apply color-safe moisturizing conditioner. Let the product sit for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it out.

Next, divide your hair into sections using an applicator brush or clips, and work through each section with a tint brush. Start applying the dye at the root until it is saturated, then comb it through to the ends of your hair. If you want to keep some strands natural or are working on multiple colors at once, be careful not to overlap them when applying the dye – this will ensure that you don’t wind up with any harsh demarcation lines in between different shades of Pulp Riot hair color.

After all of your hair is covered in dye, let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes depending on how dark you want the color. Once it has developed, rinse out your hair completely in cold water. You may need to shampoo several times or use a clarifying shampoo to remove all of the dye from your hair – this is normal, especially with highly pigmented dyes like Pulp Riot.

Finally, add some styling products and blow dry your hair for a shiny finish. The vibrant colors in your Pulp Riot hair will last about 4-8 weeks before fading, so be sure to top up as needed! Good luck getting the most out of your Pulp Riot hair color!
